Healthwatch Coordinator

The Local Healthwatch Service provides an independent platform for people to share their views and experiences of health and social care services. It is open to anyone using, needing, or supporting others who access services in Wirral. Wirral Local Healthwatch gathers feedback through engagement and research, using these insights to inform commissioners, providers, and stakeholders. Its role is to improve service quality, ensure accountability, and represent the voice of the community in decision-making. The service also offers information and signposting, particularly directing individuals with complaints about NHS services to independent advocacy support (covered under Lot 2).
